Art of Recovery Rescheduled to October 18

The Art of Recovery - New Date
Friday, October 18, 2024, 3:30-7:00 p.m.
1007 Koala Drive, Omak

Tickets are on sale now for the RESCHEDULED Art of Recovery auction and fundraiser on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 3:30-7:00 p.m. at Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare, 1007 Koala Drive in Omak.

New ticket pricing is just $30 per person, or save by reserving a full table of six for just $150. Tickets are available online now at www.okbhc.org/recovery-month, or by contacting cbranch@okbhc.org or 509-826-8580. Be sure to order soon, because tickets are limited.

The event starts at 3:30 p.m. with a reception and exhibit of artwork created by individuals who are exploring/using art as a strategy for recovery from addiction and/or other behavioral health conditions.

A tree will be planted at 4:30 p.m. in honor of the late Dan Boyle, OBHC's former Director of Substance Use Disorders, who passed away earlier this year. The reception/exhibit and tree planting are free and open to the public.

At 5:00 p.m., ticket holders will enjoy a savory steak dinner, catered by Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club, followed by delicious desserts catered by Coulee Farms.

In addition to a silent auction, the live auction starts around 6:00 p.m., when a variety of items will be sold to the highest bidders. Donated by individuals and artists who are in recovery, support recovery, or work in the field of recovery, the items up for bid include original paintings, art prints, photographic prints, silver art jewelry, hand-thrown stoneware, locally authored books, and more.

More information about the event, including photos of the items up for bid, can be found on the event webpage at www.okbhc.org/recovery-month, the same place you can buy your tickets.

Proceeds from the auction will help OBHC provide recovery treatment, counseling, and support to individuals whose resources might otherwise prevent them from getting the help they need. Ticket proceeds will benefit Okanogan-Omak Rotary.
